The contract involved the refurbishment of a Grade 2 Listed house. Works included building a new single-storey extension, demolishing the existing garage and constructing a new one.
We also re-roofed the structure, altered layouts, and restored windows and doors. Because of the heritage status, the conservation officer was heavily involved. We agreed to have new windows made while carefully reusing original heads.
When the existing roof was stripped, a new independent roof structure was needed to carry the load. Some oak rafters were replaced with bespoke-cut timbers shaped to match the originals.
Aside from these changes, the rest of the contract was delivered smoothly. This project is a prime example of our sensitive Grade II listed property renovations and bespoke period property extensions across Kent.
“You have a very professional team, with such high standard of workmanship.”
