Brighter Homes undertook a substantial barn conversion project in Canterbury, transforming two existing metal-frame agricultural buildings into modern, energy-efficient homes.

The works included constructing a new first floor in the larger two-storey barn, adding small single-storey extensions, and installing all new services, heating, and electrical systems throughout.

The team fitted contemporary kitchens and bathrooms and completed the exterior with a mix of timber and zinc cladding to complement the rural setting.

Externally, new patios and pathways were formed, enhancing access and outdoor living spaces.

Brighter Homes also collaborated with specialist contractors to integrate solar panels and a ground source heat pump, delivering a pair of sustainable, high-performance homes with a striking architectural finish.
